Whipped shea & native oils

Skin fed by the savanna, not the lab.

About the brand

Rooted in West Africa's richness

Shea Roots began with a simple frustration: shelves full of "natural" skincare that had travelled through a dozen processing steps before reaching the jar. We wanted the opposite — shea butter and oils as close as possible to how the savanna makes them.

Every batch starts with raw shea nuts sourced through women-led cooperatives across West Africa, hand-cracked and cold-pressed using traditional methods passed down through generations. We whip it — never melt-and-pour — with native oils like baobab, marula and moringa, so it stays light, fast-absorbing and true to what it is: food for your skin, not a chemistry project.
